What size paper should I use for Customat inserts?
customat is designed to accept standard A4 paper up to a thickness of 400gms.
Will Customat protect my table from heat and scratch marks?
The rubberised feet are designed to raise the mat off the table to avoid scratching. Heat from plates will be absorbed by the polycarbonate lens and protect your surfaces.
Does Customat scratch easily?
The polycarbonate lens is extremely durable and not easily marked.
Can Customat take very hot plates?
customat is manufactured in high quality polycarbonate and so can take very hot plates easily. However it is not oven proof or suitable for direct forms of heat. This product is not flame retardant.
Is Customat easy to clean?
Yes. The polycarbonate lens is wipeclean for everyday spills. The non slip top is designed so there is no problem for food or dirt to be lodged in crevices and the curved edge makes sure that liquids run off and will not ingress. The click mechanism protects the insert, but the insert must be removed before submerging the mat totally.
Can I put Customat in my dishwasher?
customat is dishwasher friendly. After removing the insert, it can be cleaned in your dishwasher on a light wash cycle. However we advise avoiding use of harsh abrasive materials or solvents.
How easy is it to change inserts?
The clipping mechanism is quick release and simple to snap closed, therefore making the replacement of inserts very simple.
Can Customat be wall mounted?
Yes. Simply push out the tabs on the baseplate and by using no.6 screws you can transform customat to display a whole variety of things from a certificate to a frameless picture!
